Who I Am
I’m a legislative advisor and senior policy analyst based in British Columbia. I used to practice law where I managed family and criminal trials in provincial and supreme court, but I have spent my last five years working in the public sector, helping the province to make new environmental laws. My work ranges from policy research to giving drafting instructions for bills that result in changes to environmental and other statutes.

The Core Reason
I want to help future lawyers and believe that good education should be available to everyone, no matter their background. I believe that a well-informed legal community can better serve society, and by equipping future lawyers with the tools they need, we can work towards a more equitable legal system.

When I’m not immersed in policy analysis or legislative advising, you’ll find me engaged in a variety of active pursuits. Rock climbing, highlining, trailrunning and backcountry skiing are my ways of being outside. Inside, I teach people how to do handstands in various studios.
