Who I Am
I’m a legislative advisor and senior policy analyst based in British Columbia. I used to practise law where I managed family and criminal trials in provincial and supreme court, but in my years working in the public sector I have been helping the province to make new environmental laws. My work ranges from policy research to giving drafting instructions for bills that result in changes to environmental and other statutes.
Back in 2012, when I was grinding through law school, I started tutoring the LSAT on the side. It was pretty informal at first, just spreading the word and helping folks figure out this tough test. I didn’t realize it then, but I was doing more than teaching them how to ace a test; I was helping kickstart their legal careers.
I’m a UVic Law alumnus, and I’m trained to teach Kaplan LSAT courses. My availability for new students is limited: I take on about one hour of tutoring per week.
