If you’re applying to UBC or UVic Law for Fall 2027, the January 2027 LSAT is your last chance to get a score in. Both schools say January is the latest LSAT they will consider for this cycle. Here are the dates that matter.
LSAT dates for this cycle
| Test | Register by | Scores released |
|---|---|---|
| January 13 to 16, 2027 | December 1, 2026 | February 3, 2027 |
| February 12 to 13, 2027 | December 29, 2026 | March 3, 2027 |
| April 8 to 10, 2027 | February 25, 2027 | April 28, 2027 |
UBC and UVic deadlines
- UBC Allard: applications close December 1, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Vancouver time. The January score is the latest they will consider. (UBC)
- UVic Law: applications close December 1. The January LSAT is the latest they take. UVic reviews applications on a rolling basis, but can’t review yours until at least one LSAT score is on file. (UVic)
That means two things land on the same day: the application deadline and the January LSAT registration deadline are both December 1. Put it in your calendar now.
What to do with the time left
From early October to mid-January is roughly 14 weeks. That is enough time to make real progress if you study with a plan instead of just doing more practice tests. Track which question types are costing you points, and spend most of your time there. My free LSAT question-type tracker does that for you. For help deciding how many hours a week you need, see Choosing Your LSAT Study Timeline.
